20/20 Imaging and iRay Panel Repair vs Replacement
2026-09-04 · 20/20 Imaging · iRay · DR
Dropped cassette, dead radio, no handshake — when we repair a 20/20 or iRay detector and when the honest quote is a cesium replacement in the same tray.
20/20 Imaging and Konica Minolta rooms in chiropractic, podiatry, and veterinary practices often run iRay-class cesium panels (Momentum DR, Universal DR, Vizion, tethered 10×12V). The searches are “2020 imaging panel repair,” “iRay panel repair,” and “iRay panel replacement.”
Repair is real when the failure is a tether, a battery/capacitor pack, a wireless radio, a dropped corner that did not kill the scintillator, or a software handshake. Replacement is the honest path when the TFT is gone, the panel is out of drop warranty, or the clinic is still on a size that does not match the specialty — a 17×17 in a podiatry 10×12 tray, for example.
As a 20/20 Imaging and Konica Minolta dealer we can put the correct cassette-sized panel back in the bucky you already own: 10×12 for podiatry (Momentum DR or Rayence 1012WCC), 14×17 or 17×17 for chiropractic and veterinary, 17×48 when full-spine stitching is not enough. Glass-free options where the line offers them. See film and CR to digital upgrades.
Do not ship a panel before we see the error. A lot of “dead detectors” are generator interlock, AED settings, or an acquisition PC that lost the panel. Aurora dispatch — request service or call 720-600-3117.
